Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas has completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Roma.
The 29-year-old Greece international has not featured under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot this season and will now spend the rest of the campaign in Italy.
Tsimikas arrived at Anfield from Olympiakos in the summer of 2020 for £11.7m, going on to make 115 appearances for the Reds. During his time at the club, he lifted the Premier League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup twice. He notably scored the decisive penalty in the shootout victory over Chelsea in the 2022 FA Cup final, securing Liverpool the trophy.
Despite his contributions, Tsimikas was unable to establish himself as a regular starter. His most recent Premier League appearance came in the 3-2 defeat to Brighton in the penultimate game of the 2024-25 title-winning season.
Roma, who continue to strengthen their squad for the Serie A campaign, will now provide the left-back with a fresh opportunity for consistent game time.
