Tottenham is expected to sign Mohammed Kudus, a 24-year-old Ghana international midfielder, from West Ham United on a six-year contract.
According to reports, the clubs have agreed a deal in the region of £55m for the coveted 24-year-old.
Kudus will reportedly ink a six-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium keeping him up for a long period of time.
The midfielder is set to become the north Londoners’ first first-team signing of the summer
Kudus is set to leave the Hammers just two years after joining them from Ajax.
It was thought that West Ham wouldn’t let him leave the London Stadium for a penny less than his £85m release clause.
But the Hammers have relented and cashed in on their coveted midfielder while his stock is at its highest.
Kudus was understood to be prioritizing Champions League football when looking for a new club, and had set his heart on a move to North London soon after they expressed interest.
Kudus was one of West Ham’s star performers last season, scoring five goals and bagging four assists in 35 appearances for Graham Potter’s side.
Within a span of two seasons, the ex-Right To Dream Academy talent accumulated 80 caps, netting 19 goals and providing 13 assists.
Kudus has now become the most expensive Ghanaian player, commanding a staggering £55m transfer fee and eclipsing the record previously held by ex-Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
