Everton are reportedly monitoring Leicester City’s talented Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season.
Fatawu, 22, is returning to full fitness after a challenging 2024/25 campaign, which was interrupted by an ACL injury. Despite the setback, he has shown resilience and is ready to make an impact on the pitch.
Last season in the Championship, Fatawu was instrumental for Leicester City, scoring six goals and providing 13 assists in 40 appearances, playing a key role in their push for promotion. His standout performances convinced Leicester to secure his services permanently from Sporting CP, paying €10 million plus an additional €7 million in fees.
Fatawu also made his Premier League debut last season against Tottenham Hotspur, assisting Jamie Vardy’s goal in a 1-1 draw, showcasing his potential at the top level.
With his fitness restored, the Ghanaian winger is expected to contribute significantly to Leicester’s campaign while attracting interest from Premier League clubs like Everton, who are reportedly keen to bolster their attacking options.
