The Black Stars thrashed Madagascar 5-0 in Morocco before edging Comoros 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium results that secured their position at the top of Group I in the ongoing World Cup qualifying campaign.
While the team’s global ranking has improved, their continental standing remains unchanged. Ghana holds 14th place in Africa, indicating there’s still work to do to climb higher among the continent’s footballing elites.
