The 2025 University of Ghana Corporate Football League is set to culminate in a dramatic finale on Friday, as four top teams battle for glory, pride, and a coveted spot on the international stage. The final, to be staged at the University of Ghana Stadium, will see Union Ghana face off against Ghana Civil Aviation Authority in a highly anticipated showdown that promises skill, intensity, and spectacle.

The stakes could not be higher, beyond local bragging rights, the winner of the final will earn the honour of representing Ghana at the upcoming World Corporate Championships in Morocco. The announcement, made at a press conference earlier today, added an extra layer of excitement to an already electric fixture.

At the media briefing, both finalists expressed confidence in their preparations and readiness to deliver on the big day. Coaches and team representatives commended their players’ commitment throughout the season and promised fans a performance befitting the occasion. While each camp acknowledged the quality of the other, both made it clear they were determined to seize the title.

Union Ghana enter the final as one of the league’s most consistent and respected teams, backed by a seasoned squad with a proven track record in corporate football. Their opponents, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, have enjoyed a stellar campaign and will be looking to cap off their run with a memorable victory and an international breakthrough.

Adding to the day’s excitement is the third-place playoff between Ghana Armed Forces Officers Sports Club and the Forestry Commission. Both sides narrowly missed a spot in the final, but are eager to finish their tournament on a high and claim the bronze medal. With pride and redemption on the line, the playoff promises to be just as fiercely contested.

The 2025 edition of the University of Ghana Corporate Football League has been a celebration of sporting excellence, camaraderie, and corporate team spirit. Throughout the competition, players and teams have showcased exceptional talent and determination, drawing in fans and solidifying the league’s status as a premier corporate football event.

As fans prepare to converge on the University of Ghana Stadium, anticipation is at a peak for what is expected to be a grand and fitting conclusion to an unforgettable season. With a ticket to Morocco on the line, the stage is set for a Friday football spectacle that will echo far beyond campus grounds.
