The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) and Danone, a global leader in food and nutrition in Africa, have announced an agreement making Danone an Official Partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (“AFCON”) Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (“WAFCON”) Morocco 2024.
This Partnership strengthens Danone’s commitment to promoting health through food across the African continent, where both sport and nutrition play an essential role in daily life and community development.
As an Official Partner, Danone will share its expertise in nutrition for all ages by providing nutritious dairy products to over 10,000 volunteers, 5,000 accredited journalists, as well as numerous officials and team members involved in these two major international football events.
Beyond the pitch, Danone is committed to working alongside CAF in its CAF African Schools Football Championship, where it is developing educational kits for boys and girls school footballers, to promote the importance of a balanced diet and regular physical activity from an early age.
CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “CAF is excited about its Partnership with Danone which is a globally respected food and beverage company. We are proud to be part of these iconic events to showcase our brands and vision across Africa.”

This partnership is part of Danone’s long-term strategy to enhance its positive impact on local communities through a sustainable approach to food.
