Hearts of Oak midfielder Atta Poku has boldly declared that his team is determined to defeat Asante Kotoko when they meet in Kumasi in the upcoming Ghana Premier League clash.

Speaking ahead of the high-stakes encounter, Poku emphasized that Hearts of Oak are fully focused and confident going into the fixture, which promises to be one of the season’s most intense showdowns.

“Kotoko are a strong team, especially at home, but our mission is clear,” Atta Poku said. “We’re going to Kumasi to win and secure the three points. We respect our opponents, but we have our own game plan, and we are ready to execute it.”

The midfielder highlighted the importance of mental toughness and discipline, noting that Hearts of Oak have prepared extensively for the challenges of playing at the Baba Yara Stadium. According to him, the team is motivated by past encounters and aims to make a statement with a positive result.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the clash, which could have significant implications for the league standings. Atta Poku’s confident remarks reflect the team’s ambition and belief in their ability to compete at the highest level, even in a hostile away environment.

As Hearts of Oak travel to Kumasi, all eyes will be on how the team translates pre-match confidence into performance on the pitch against their fierce rivals.
