Mbappé and Vinícius Jr inspire six-goal rout as Real Madrid overwhelm Monaco
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Kylian Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior delivered a dazzling attacking masterclass as Real Madrid ran riot to a 6–0 demolition of AS Monaco, producing one of the most emphatic performances of their European campaign.

Madrid set the tone early, pressing aggressively and moving the ball with purpose. Mbappé was at the heart of everything dangerous, combining blistering pace with ruthless finishing to torment his former Ligue 1 rivals. Vinícius complemented him perfectly, stretching the defence, driving at full-backs and repeatedly carving openings with direct, fearless play.

The breakthrough arrived after sustained pressure, and once Madrid found their rhythm the floodgates opened. Mbappé struck twice in quick succession, showcasing his clinical edge, before Vinícius added his name to the scoresheet with a composed finish following a sweeping counter-attack.

Monaco struggled to cope with Madrid’s tempo and movement, and their defensive organisation unravelled as the match wore on. Madrid capitalised with further goals either side of the break, mixing patient build-up with rapid transitions that left the visitors chasing shadows.

With the result beyond doubt, Madrid continued to play with authority and confidence, adding gloss to the scoreline and underlining their attacking depth. The commanding victory strengthens their momentum in Europe and sends a clear message to rivals.

For Mbappé and Vinícius, the night served as a statement of their devastating partnership, while for Monaco it was a harsh reminder of the ruthless standards required at the very top level of the UEFA Champions League.
